The ERG-EH series safety shut-off gas pressure regulators similarly serve to secure the operational integrity of downstream components in the gas distribution system. These regulators reduce inlet pressure to the required/set outlet level and maintain such pressure within the defined tolerance parameters. If the outlet pressure deviates beyond or below the designated safety limits (within tolerances), the device autonomously detects the condition and halts the gas flow, remaining shut until manually restored. This type of regulator features a combined safety shut-off mechanism for both high and low pressure conditions. The low-pressure safety shut-off mechanism may be excluded if not stipulated at the time of order. Where an air-venting discharge system is incorporated per order requirements, necessary measures must be taken to prevent the expelled gas from entering enclosed environments.
