Platin Magazine brought the digital transformation of energy infrastructure, ESKA’s smart natural gas meters, R&D investments, and our vision for global markets to its readers.
Platin Magazine, one of the established publications in the business and economic world, featured our company’s digitalization vision and innovative solutions for the energy sector in its article titled “Digital Revolution in Energy Infrastructure.”
The article highlighted how we are taking our longstanding expertise in manufacturing gas pressure regulators and automatic safety valves to the next level with smart natural gas meters. It emphasized that, with our vision focused on efficiency, safety, and sustainable energy management, we are pioneering a new “data-driven” era in energy management.
The article also drew attention to how our smart meter systems provide both distribution companies and end users with operational efficiency and cost control through features such as remote reading, real-time consumption monitoring, and leak prevention. Considering Türkiye’s seismic reality, the article emphasized the vital importance of combining our experience in regulator technologies with next-generation safety systems to minimize infrastructure risks.
It was also stated that our smart ultrasonic natural gas meter, the result of our five-year R&D focus and a major investment of TRY 200 million, has demonstrated its operational reliability through ongoing field applications at approximately 2,000 different locations across Türkiye. Our General Manager, Mehmet Murat Çalapkulu, whose views were featured in the magazine, stated that the future of energy infrastructure will be shaped by the ability to make decisions based on accurate data. He also emphasized that smart measurement technologies enable energy systems to become safer, faster, and more predictable, establishing a new standard in infrastructure management.
The article noted that, based on applications around the world, the use of smart meters can optimize consumer behavior and provide average monthly savings of up to 7%. It also emphasized our goal of making Türkiye a global player in gas technologies through our extensive export network, extending from Europe to Latin America and from the Turkic Republics to North Africa, driven by a strategic commitment to domestic production.

Our Global Business Development Director, Özay Karaman, shared ESKA Valve’s more than 20 years of export experience, global market objectives, and R&D- and sustainability-focused investments in the December 2025 issue of DTK Magazine.
