One of the leading publications in the industry shared ESKA Valve’s MID-certified smart ultrasonic gas meters, developed with more than 50 years of experience, and its innovative solutions for digital energy infrastructure with German readers.

Digital transformation in the energy sector and smart infrastructure solutions continue to attract international media attention. The article published in a German industry publication highlighted how ESKA Valve combines more than half a century of experience in natural gas regulation and energy infrastructure, dating back to 1968, with digital measurement technologies.

The article drew attention to ESKA Valve’s investments in smart measurement technologies in line with the increasing adoption of data-driven processes. The company stands out with its extensive product portfolio consisting of gas pressure regulators, filters, safety equipment, and measurement systems supplied to more than 60 countries. The strategic role of the MID-certified smart ultrasonic gas meter developed by our company as a result of a five-year Research and Development (R&D) program and a total investment of €4 million in the development of digital energy infrastructure was also presented in detail.

The published analysis stated that the new-generation smart gas meter goes beyond being simply a consumption measurement device and serves as a digital building block that enables the collection, analysis, and management of energy data. It was emphasized that, thanks to our company’s technology supporting flexible communication standards such as NB-IoT, LoRaWAN, RF, and M-Bus, functions including remote meter reading, two-way communication, remote authorized opening and closing of the gas flow, real-time consumption analysis, and advanced security features can all be integrated into a single platform.

The article also highlighted that our ultrasonic measurement technology, which measures gas using ultrasonic sound waves instead of moving mechanical parts, reduces maintenance requirements and provides long-term measurement accuracy. It was also reported that pilot projects and field studies conducted around the world have increased consumer awareness and demonstrated an average optimization potential of between 5% and 7%. By reducing field operations and contributing to resource efficiency, this technology was highlighted as a critical step toward the digital energy infrastructures of the future.
