Leading Figures in the Natural Gas Industry and the Press Covered Our Visit to ESKA Valve’s Smart Natural Gas Meter Production Center.

Following GAZBİR-GAZMER’s 100,000th Vocational Qualification Certificate Ceremony, the visit by senior officials and industry representatives to ESKA Valve’s Smart Natural Gas Meter Production Center received extensive coverage in the press.

The program, organized with the aim of enhancing professional qualifications in the natural gas sector, expanding the qualified workforce, and developing safe service standards, attracted significant attention from industry publications and brought together representatives from the public sector and the industry. The event was attended by Sakarya Governor Rahmi Doğan; Fatih Dönmez, Chairman of the Parliamentary Research Commission on Artificial Intelligence and AK Party Eskişehir Deputy; Yaşar Arslan, President of GAZBİR; Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sarıbıyık, Vice President of the Vocational Qualifications Authority and Rector of Sakarya University of Applied Sciences; representatives of EMRA (EPDK); and Akgün Altuğ, Chairman of the Board of SATSO. Erhan Sardal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ESKA Valve, also took part in the event.

According to reports published in the press and industry publications, following the program, the delegation also visited the ESKA Valve factory as part of a technical visit. During the visit, the delegation was given detailed information about our facility’s modern production infrastructure, our smart natural gas meter technologies developed using domestic and national capabilities, and our ongoing digital transformation initiatives. The delegation also had the opportunity to examine these technologies and production processes on site.

During the visit, our General Manager, Murat Çalapkulu, highlighted the contribution of vocational qualification certificates to the development of a qualified workforce in the energy sector. Emphasizing that digital smart natural gas meters will play a critical role in the future of the energy sector, Çalapkulu expressed his appreciation to all delegation members for their visit and interest in our efforts to develop domestic technologies.
